Is the Veil Getting Thinner?

Sometimes it feels like the veil that divides the living from the dead is getting thinner. We have technology at our disposal now that can be used to see things that we were not able to in the past. I am excited about the possibilities that exist.

Waverly Hills Sanitorium is a place where I believe the veil between our world and the world of the dead is very thin. I would love to visit and take a tour but I do not know if I would be brave enough to go into the death chute where they disposed of the tuberculosis patients who had died in the hospital. That would creep me out bigtime!

Paranormal Experiences

Hi All Inhabitants venof the Blogosphere of the Paranormal,

Well, about a week ago. I was roused from sleep by the sound of breaking glass. For some reason at 2:30 a.m., a picture that has been hanging on my bedroom wall for about ten years decided to fall and shatter into shards of glass. Too weird!

Okay, I told you all that I was going to review Haunted Collector. The first episode sucked pretty much. I guess I do believe that items can retain human energy but it seemed awfully convenient that they went from a cold spot in the kitchen of their client to finding a gun buried under the house. Maybe I am taking things way too serious. After all, these kind of shows are supposed to just be for the entertainment of the masses afterall. The second episode was an improvement.

Haunted Collecting

Hey All,
I noticed SyFy channell has a new show called "Haunted Collector". That should be interesting. Especially since I am a collector who would like to know if there is a chance that any of the items I bring home may have something attached to them that I don't want in our house. I will write a brief review after I see the show.

Paranormal Info

Hi All You Seekers of Mystery,
I found out that there is a Greater Indianapolis Paranormal Society. Some interesting photos on their web site. Another good Indy site is indyghosts.org. They have sound clips of Evp's. Very interesting! A cool site for ghost pictures is ghostpictures.cc which is part of paranormalnetwork.com. I will post more info as I find it. Keep searching for answers, y'all!

More Strange Occurences

Hi All You Seekers of Truth,

More strange things have happened in our 1927 haunted house! If you look really close at this photo you can see a face. I realize this is probably just dust but I can even see the part in the hair and it even actually looks like a relative. Funny, huh. I am also kind of wondering what makes an unused VCR start trying to rewind a tape when there is no tape inserted. This was about 2 o'clock in the morning. Maybe I have such a strong desire for something to happen this is all wishful thinking but maybe not. More to come....

Interesting Info!

Hi!

Remember I said I was going to look into the reason ghosthunters use EMF detectors? Well, I did. I found out that they are pretty much just for show. Electromagnetic Frequency Detectors are good at detecting EMF coming from sources such as computers, tv's and natural sources as well. I am starting to feel like Houdini trying to debunk the supernatural but like me he would have loved to find something truly supernatural. To be continued....

More Musings

Me Again,
I do believe in life after death. The Law of Conservation of Energy says that "Energy can never be created or destroyed. It merely changes form". This is one of the basic laws of physics so it has to be true. From there it follows that we have to ask the questions "Is there a human soul and is it composed of energy?"
Personally I have complete faith that the human soul does exist. I do believe that it leaves our bodies after we die and that the human soul is composed of some type of energy.
That would tie in with the reasoning behind all the paranormal researchers on tv carrying around their electromagnetic detectors. I am going to have to do some research to find out why they look at electromagnetic energy....
